Functions FAQS

  • How do I organise a function or event?

    Simply fill out our functions enquiry form or contact our Functions Department directly via functions@tattersallsclub.com.

  • Can Non-Members book functions at Tattersall's Club?

    Yes, we welcome functions bookings from Members and Non-Members.

  • Do I have to wear a jacket and tie to functions?

    The dress code for Club functions is corporate or smart casual. View our Club dress code here.

  • Can I build a custom menu for my function?

    Yes, our Functions Co-ordinators will work with you on a menu that suits your budget and requirements.

  • Do you have parking available?

    Yes, we offer discounted parking rates at Queens Plaza and Wintergarden car parks. View parking information here.

  • Is Tattersall's Club's Accommodation available to function guests?

    Yes, function guests are welcome to stay in Tattersall's Club's Accommodation on the evening of their function. View our accommodation section for more information. Tattersall's Club's Accommodation is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

  • How does a Private Membership Club for men remain relevant today?

    Tattersall's Club is not only a Club for male Members to enjoy, but also for their partners and families. Partners are welcome to obtain a Partners Card, providing them with access to Club facilities and services. Partners are also welcome to bring guests to the Club, or enjoy the amenities at their own leisure.

  • What are Tattersall's Subscriptions?

    Tattersall's Club offers a number of different Membership options. Membership fees are reviewed annually, please refer to the below for the 2017 fees:

    Entrance Fees: Tattersall's Club Committee advises the entrance fee of $1,100 inc GST will be charged to the nominated credit card upon receipt of Member Application Form. Should the application not be successful, Tattersall's Club will refund the entrance fee in full. 

  • How do I pay my Membership Subscription?

    Your Membership Account can be settled via the following options:

    1. Tattersall's Club Direct Deposit Facility Members wishing to make a payment on their accounts can do so easily with our Direct Deposit Facility via their internet banking. When paying using this facility do not forget to include your membership number.

    2. The following cards are accepted: Mastercard/Visa/American Express/Diners. 
      Complete your credit card details on the bottom of your statement and return to the address provided on the statement.

      American Express and Diners Club 3%

    3. Attach a cheque to your statement and return to the address provided on the statement.

    4. Bpay by internet or phone, using the online or telephone banking services of your financial institution.

     

    How do I make a BPAY Payment?

    Simply follow these steps:

    • Register for Internet or phone banking at your financial institution, if you haven't already. Find the contact details for your financial institution at www.bpay.com.au. Look for the distinctive BPAY logo on your bills.
    • Log onto your Internet banking service or call your phone banking service.
    • Select the BPAY or bill payment option. You will then be prompted (via voice or on-screen) to select the account you wish to pay the bill from, enter your Biller Code, customer reference number, the amount to pay and when you wish to schedule the payment.
    • Wait for and record your receipt number.

  • Can I invite Non-Member guests into the Club and if so how many?

    Members are welcome to invite Non-Members into the Club. We ask that all Non-Members sign in at Concierge.

  • Can I access the Club if I am not a Member?

    Non-Members are welcome to attend the Club as a function or event guest, or that of a Tattersall's Club Member. Non-Members are also welcome to use the Club facilities for corporate events, private functions or weddings.

  • Can I come into the Club if I am not a Member?

    Yes you are welcome to come into the Club as a guest of a Member, or Member’s partner, or as a function guest.

  • Where is the Club located?

    Tattersall’s Club is located at 215 Queen Street and can be accessed via the Tattersall’s Arcade entrances off Edward Street and the Queen Street Mall.

  • Can Members bring friends into the Club?

    Yes you are welcome to bring friends, please just sign them in at Concierge.

  • What is the dress code for the Club?

  • Can media come into the Club?

  • Does the Club have its own car park?

    Tattersall’s Club has discounted parking arrangements for Members, their family and guests, and functions guests at Queens Plaza and Wintergarden car parks. The discount includes $19 week day parking for up to 6 hours and $21 week day parking for over 6 hours, $10 after 1:30pm on week days and $10 on weekends. To take advantage of the parking offer, parking tickets/tokens need to be validated at the ticket machines in Concierge.

Race Day FAQS

  • How do I become a Tattersall’s Racing Club Member?

    All members of the Tattersall's Club are automatic members of the Tattersall's Racing Club. Benefits are one (1) Members' Badge and three (3) guest badges.  These badges gain admission to the course and the John Power Stand (Dress Regulations Apply). Valid only on Tattersall's Race Days.

    Additional John Power stand tickets are available for members on Tattersall's Race days. John Power stand tickets are complimentary. Tattersall's Racing Club holds four race meetings per year between Doomben and Eagle Farm Racecourse.

  • What is the dress code for a Tattersall’s Race Day?

    The dress code is as follows:

    Public Areas

    • Minimum respectable dress standards are required - dress t-shirts, collared shirts, jumpers, dress shorts and jeans are deemed appropriate.
    • Footwear must be worn at all times

     

    Members' and Corporate Hospitality Areas

    Gentleman:

    1 March to 30 November 

    • Collared shirt (tucked in)
    • Tailored trousers
    • Covered dress shoes
    • Plus either a tie or a tailored suit-style jacket or blazer 

    1 December to 28 February (Summer Dress Code)

  • How do I book a private event or function space at a Tattersall's Race Day?

    Tattersall's Racing Club offers a range of venues at both Eagle Farm and Doomben Racecourses.

  • Are there any terms and conditions to review before I book?

    Yes, please ensure you read and understand the following terms and conditions document prior to booking a private space at any Tattersall's Race Day. If you have any queries please contact Tattersall's Racing Club on 07 3331 8884 or racing@tattersallsclub.com.

  • Is there Fashions on the Field competition at any of the race days?

    Every June, Tattersall's Racing Club hosts a Fashions on the Field Competition. Race day patrons can enter on the day. Terms and conditions of entry are as follows:

    Entrants must be 18 years or older. Judges desicion is final. Tattersall's Racing Club staff are ineligable to enter. Tattersall's Racing Club reserves the right to entrants' images in promotional material for future marketing activities.

  • If I am a member of the Club, can I receive a discount at the Tattersall's Arcade?

    Several Tattersall’s Arcade Tenants offer discounts to Tattersall’s Club Members upon presentation of their Membership Cards, including:

  • What are the opening hours of the Tattersall's Arcade?

    The Tattersall’s Arcade’s is subject to the following opening hours:

    Monday until Thursday 9:00am – 5:30pm
    Friday 9:00am – 9:00pm
    Saturday 9:00am – 5:30pm
    Sunday 10:00am – 5:30pm

Tattersall's Club offers Members and guests discounted parking at Queens Plaza and Wintergarden Car Parks. Members and guests simply need to validate the parking ticket at Concierge to receivce one of these discounted rates:
