A thriving Interest Group welcoming new Members from all walks of life

Now a thriving Interest Group, we welcome Members from all walks of life and are open to both men and women of all ages.

Rowing Interest Group Members row out of the Eric Freeman Boat Shed, at the University of Queensland, St Lucia. They enjoy access to the largest Club Fleet in Brisbane and the safest and most picturesque reaches of the Brisbane River.

Tattersall’s Rowing Interest Group caters for all. Some row for fun and fitness, whilst others for the thrill of competition at Regattas.

Whether you are a beginner or an old hand, you are always welcome to come down to the Boat Shed and enjoy the ultimate in team sport with Tattersall's.

Our learn to row programs run throughout the year on the first Sunday of the month. These programs have been carefully designed to help beginners develop the skills and confidence to safely take to the water in a variety of rowing craft.

Novice rowers are encouraged to progress through all three levels of instruction, before being admitted as a fully-fledged member of the Club.
