Isabella and Luke’s Wedding

Isabella and Luke

How did you and Luke meet?

Luke and I met through a mutual friend one night whilst studying at University. After we met, we began studying frequently together and he eventually asked me out on a date after much persistence from my friend.

Why did you choose this venue?

We chose Tattersall's as our reception venue as Luke was a member and often we would go to functions. At these functions I fell in love with the grand ballroom, it's beautiful view of the city at night and had always thought if we were to get married - it would be at tatts!

Tell us about your decorations…

When Luke proposed I imagined our wedding having lots of flowers, candles and being all white & gold. I contacted LUXE Flower Wall Hire and they made my dreams come true with a beautiful white flower wall, a floral runner for the bridal table and acrylic boxes containing peony balls as centrepieces. Peonies and roses are my favourite flowers so it was important to me that they were incorporated into the decor of the wedding.

Your most precious memory of the day?

My most precious memory of the day is when Luke and I were having our first dance as a married couple and the dance floor turned into a cloud. Funnily enough prior to the wedding Luke and I had many disagreements over whether or not we should have a fog machine - with myself not wanting it. However, whilst we were dancing I was blown away when the fog began to disperse creating a cloud for us to dance on. It was single handedly the most beautiful moment and I was so glad I listened to Luke.

Anna and Jordan’s Wedding

 Anna and Jordan

How did you and Jordan meet?

We met the good old fashioned way, via a dating app!

What was your most memorable moment of the day?

The most memorable moment from our day was probably a tie between seeing each other for the first time at the church, and the speech from Jordan’s younger brother and best man Ethan at the reception, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

Where did you go for your honeymoon?

We spent a month eating our way through Europe.

Special thanks to…

Special thanks to our families for putting up with wedding planning chat for so long and our wonderful vendors who made our day go off without a hitch. The Tattersalls staff in particular were professional, friendly and had thought of everything. This meant the whole reception was just seamless and we could just enjoy ourselves!
