The Healy Room is Tattersall’s modern dining room and has served generations of
families in a mixed-dining setting since the Club’s redevelopment was unveiled in 1997.
Described by Members and staff as the social
hub of Tattersall’s, the Healy Room is beautifully
appointed for breakfast daily, weekday business
lunches, and dinner six nights a week Monday
through to Saturday, closed Sunday evenings.
The Healy Room offers the same exemplary
Tattersall’s service in a more intimate and less
formal setting. Carefully designed with art deco
influences to complement the Members’ Dining
Room, its coffered ceiling and light fittings are
intentionally angular but the ambience is warm
It tends to be the favoured spot to host prompt
weekly lunches and special occasion dinners. The
menu boasts celebrated traditional dishes and a
variety of seasonal fine dining choices. Members
can also host a decadent High Tea in the Healy
Room, simply book two days in advance.
10 | Tattersall’s Club Brisbane
Tattersall’s is a family friendly Club and welcomes
children under 16 years to dine in the Healy Room.
The longevity of Tattersall’s staff mean they have
heartfelt stories of when they served current
Members in their youth, who in turn are now
hosting their own children. Family dinners are a
wonderful opportunity to reinforce table manners
and the art of conversation for younger guests.
There are also specific children’s events at Easter,
Christmas, and during the school holidays.
The home away from home comfort in the Healy
Room extends to its specific Dress Code. From 1
January 2020, dress denim tastefully paired with
tucked in collared long-sleeved shirts or tailored
blouses may be worn in the Healy Room for
breakfast, lunch and dinner, and in the Members’
Bar all day on Fridays only, from 10am to 8pm.
Further information on the Club’s Dress Code and
dining etiquette for families is provided on Page 5.
