Offering versatile function rooms with a unique location above the iconic Queen Street Mall, Tattersall’s Club has a function space that’s sure to be perfect for your next event.
No longer restricted to Members, our exceptional function rooms are now available for all weddings, business functions and special events. Wedding and corporate packages are also available.
The Members’ Bar has long been a meeting place for Members and guests and is frequently used for both Club events and private functions.
Members' Dining Room
The Members’ Dining Room treats guests to the unique style and elegance reminiscent of the Great Gatsby era. The room opened for business in 1939 and is a favourite dining space among Members.
The Chandelier Room is most aptly named, with an impressive crystal masterpiece hanging elegantly in the centre of the ceiling. It’s perfect for intimately seated events of around 12 to 22 guests.
The Committee Room walls are lined with the portraits of generations of Tattersall’s Club Committeemen. Providing the ideal setting for a board meeting of between 6 and 12 guests.
Made up of three spaces, each named after past club presidents, The Grand Ballroom is Tattersall’s most versatile function space, with the capacity to host groups of between 30 and 330 guests.
Opened in April 1997 and named after W J Healy, the longest serving President of Tattersall’s, 1932-1953, the Room proudly displays many of the Tattersall’s Art Prize winning paintings.
The versatility of the Holdway Room provides the ideal space for a wide range of events including meetings, seminars, cocktail receptions, luncheons and intimate dinners.
The O’Duffy Library provides a functions space, which is ideal for intimately seated banquet and cocktail events. The doors open directly onto the outside terrace that features BBQ facilities.
The Needham Room is a private dining room named after a previous President of the Club. The Waterford chandelier and oil paintings by Rubery Bennett are prominent features of this space.
The leather lounges and timber balustrades provide an impressive framework for this popular ceremony space, and the enchanting architecture of the Members’ Bar provides the ideal backdrop for any function.
Templeton Room & Race Bar
Forming one third of the Grand Ballroom, this space can cater for up to 100 guests and provides the ideal venue for all event styles including seminars, cocktail receptions, luncheons and dinners.
Forming the final third of the Grand Ballroom, the natural light and window alcove, overlooking the Queen Street Mall, provides an inviting space for between 10 and 70 guests.
The Wine Room offers Members and function guests a unique and private dining experience, amongst an eclectic, award-winning selection of wine sourced locally and from around the world.
