Entrée
Venison meatballs with Tasmanian pepper berry and beetroot puree, horseradish cream and caper

Brave Faces’ Grenache/Syrah/Mouvedre  2022, Barossa Valley, South Australia – The classic Rhone blend saw a late flowering in 2022, resulting in a lower and more concentrated yield. The palate consist of  lean fruit, soft acidity with a drying firm tannin presence at the back. The bouquet is reminiscent of black fruit, raspberries, black pepper and Asian spice. Aged for 6 months in new and old French oak, should see a spice and pepper characteristic to build the complexity of the wine.

Charlie's Garden Shiraz 2020, Eden Valley, South Australia – Grown in the cool Eden Valley, the striking acidity and medium body balance with a lush black fruit, aniseed cooked plums. This wine enjoys a lengthy finish and firm yet subtle tannins. Seeing time in oak of around 18 months, this wines structure leaves little to be desired and exceptional in food pairings.

Main
Beef Shin and Liquorice Ragu with herb polenta, caraway glazed baby turnips and carrot fronds

‘Sexy Beast’ Cabernet 2021 McLaren Vale, South Australia – With lushes broad dark fruits driving tannins and a Stoney edged minerality in the finish, this cabernet shows a vivacious and youthful interpretation of the classic, structured varietal. For those who enjoy a full and complex palate, this wine won’t disappoint.

‘Gnarly Dudes’ Shiraz 2021 Barossa Valley, South Australia – The aromatics present dance from bay leaf and dark berries, to liquorice, cassis and juicy plum. With a palate as playful and lively as the ‘Pictures series’, this tongue in cheek shiraz will have you licking your lips with juicy black fruit, playful acidity, enveloping tannins and an intriguing spice characteristic. The quintessential shiraz with a dark edge provokes a sense of sessionability and dark elegance.

Dessert
King Island smoked cheddar & Montevega Manchego with sour cherry loaf, peach and muscatel Chutney and pickle

Holy Grail Shiraz 2020 Seppeltsfield, Barossa Valley – Grown in the estate Single Vineyard of Seppeltsfield, this revered rendition of one of the most popular varietals in the country boasts of silky smooth tannins, broad and ripe black current and black plums, spices and subtle herbaceous notes.  Bold, playful and complex, this wine encompasses all the best qualities of the team at Two Hands.
