About the event:
On EKKA Eve (the night before the EKKA holiday) this year, your Wine Club is featuring one of the very best wineries from Langhorne Creek.

Lake Breeze has a rich history beginning in the 1850's when William Hill first took up land in Langhorne Creek, building the initial homestead later to become known as 'Fairholme'.  William's granddaughter married Arthur Follett, who established the first vineyards on the property during the late 1880's.

The property combined a successful dairy farm along with grape growing.

Two generations later, Ken Follet continued the family legacy increasing the emphasis on wine grape growing. He replaced the old palomino and doradillo vines in the 1960's and 1970's with cabernet sauvignon, shiraz and later chardonnay. These varieties currently make up the bulk of the 90 hectare vineyard.

A new chapter began for the Follett family with the first Lake Breeze wine produced in 1987. This led to the opening of the cellar door in 1991. The next generation have now assumed control with Greg the winemaker, Roger the export and sales manager and Tim managing the vineyard, all working together to make Lake Breeze Wines the huge success that it is today.

The wines will be presented by Lake Breeze Head Winemaker, Greg Follett.  Greg has been knocking on the door of an Australian Winemaker of the Year award having been a finalist before and reaching the final short list for 2023 (winner not yet revealed) with James Halliday.

Lake Breeze has been awarded Best Value Winery for 2022 by James Halliday and boasts a wide range of trophies and awards for their Langhorne Creek offerings.

The first four courses of this sumptuous dinner will be accompanied by Lake Breeze wines.

Dessert will be accompanied by a Reserve Ruby Porto from Kopke (Douro, Portugal).

Your Wine Club gastronomic panel is collaborating with Executive Chef, Warren Turnbull, to imagine a  five course menu worthy of these wines. Full details will be released shortly.

Cancellation Policy
Members who wish to alter their function booking should do their utmost to give adequate notice. In any event, where an "RSVP time and date" has been nominated, any changes should be advised by that time. We recognise that “life happens” and sometimes late changes are unavoidable. However, if the Wine Club has already committed to confirmed numbers with Tatt’s Functions, we may not be able to avoid Member's charges.  We will always make every effort to adjust numbers and avoid members being billed for non-attendance; however, sometimes, for late changes, it cannot be achieved. In the event that a charge has been made to your account, which you feel should not have been made; it would be appreciated if your first enquiry is directed to the Wine Club rather than Tatt’s Accounts Department.
